Another busy day….just wanted to share this LO I did. I found these old photos of me at my high school graduation and wanted to get them in our family album.

I used a wonderful, FREE kit called “Artsy” from Terrel Designs. You can find it on her blog here:  http://waititgetsbetter.blogspot.com/2008/01/artsy-freebie.html  It’s beautiful, with soft colors and rough textures….a perfect mix for any number of layouts.

Here are a couple of LOs I’ve done with it…

The first is my MIL in 1970….note the little white gloves and wrist corsage and, of course, ya gotta love the hair!

This one is my wedding cake. It was chocolate, through and through, including REAL (not white) chocolate frosting….my mother was horrified! LOL

Busy day today….Dh’s birthday is tomorrow, but we’re celebrating tonight since the kids will all be home.  I still haven’t gotten him a present!!  Also, I’ve been quilting all week, so we can’t even SEE the dining room table….have to shop, clean, and cook. The cooking part takes me forever — I am definitely NOT a cook (or much of a housewife, for that matter <g>).

I’m SOOOO excited! I’ve been chosen as a CT member for Stone Accents Studio!!

Here’s a layout I did a couple of days ago, using JenLin Designs’ kit “Wreck of a Day.” The kit is so versatile; I keep going back to it over and over.

I must be getting old. It took me half the day to figure how to link sites to my blinkies!

 I finally got it done, though and, hopefully, will start regular posting tonight.
